We hike along the Esker Trail at the huge Cap Sauers Holding Forest Preserve. This has been called the most isolated spot in Cook County. Here the kids split into two groups and made debris shelters from logs and sticks lying on the ground.
The effort and team work showed as the littles learned from the bigger kids. Everyone had a great time and even though it drizzled on our way back, there was not one complaint the whole mile back.
