Once a month we host "Children's Book Club" as our monthly activity. This typically falls on the 4th Monday of the month and the children may choose to participate in one of two Book Club groups.
Pre- and Beginning Readers Book Club is organized and led by a parent volunteer. The Pre- and Beginning readers have a traditional story time and a related craft or activity.
Advanced Readers Book Club is led by a parent volunteer who has read the books and guides the children in a discussion based upon the reading selections chosen by the group. The books are chosen by the children ahead of time and they drive most of the discussion with their own observations and questions.
